Audit & Assurance
Independent assurance for private companies, listed entities, banks, trusts and societies, and public sector undertakings.
An audit is worth only what the opinion behind it can withstand. Our assurance work runs from the statutory audit of a private company through bank branch and concurrent audits to public sector assignments. Each engagement is planned around where the risk actually sits — revenue recognition, related-party flows, inventory, loan classification — rather than a checklist applied uniformly to every client. Where Ind AS reporting or internal financial controls testing applies, that work is scoped in from the start rather than bolted on at year end.
Clients come to us for assurance in three situations: a statutory requirement that has to be met properly, a lender or regulator wanting comfort the previous auditor could not give, and a board that suspects its own reporting is not telling it the truth. We act for private companies, listed entities, cooperative and commercial banks, public sector undertakings and charitable institutions. Where an incoming audit follows a difficult year, we say at the outset what we will and will not be in a position to sign.
