CA Nitesh Gupta, BSC, FCA, is a Practicing Chartered Accountant and partner of M/s Vinod Kumar Gupta & Associates. He has been a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 2004. CA Nitesh Gupta completed his schooling from St. Peters College, Agra, one of the oldest and prestigious institutions in North India. He qualified his Chartered Accountancy Examinations in the year 2004 and has been in practice since then. His area of specialization includes Auditing in the Banking, Insurance, and Finance sectors. He has effectively discharged his duties as an avid professional by providing specialized consultancy in the areas of Project Financing, Subsidies, and Project Setup. From 2007-2013, he served as a Managing Committee Member of the Agra Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, serving the branch in various capacities such as Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice-Chairman. In 2011-12, he served as the Chairman of the Agra Branch of ICAI, and under his able leadership, the Agra Branch won the prestigious Star Branch Award in the Central Region. In 2013-14, he was nominated to the Central Committee of ICAI, namely the Committee on Financial Markets and Investor Protection. While working in the Committee, he organized a large number of Investor Awareness Programs and was instrumental in the preparation of memorandums. He was a special invitee to the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board of ICAI for the year 2018-19. In the 2015 Elections of ICAI, he won his elections to the Central India Regional Council and became the Secretary of CIRC for the year 2016-17. In 2017-18, he was the Chairman of the Students association (CICASA), and in 2018-19, he was the Treasurer of CIRC. The jurisdiction of the Central India Regional Council (CIRC of ICAI) is spread over the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Rajasthan, comprising more than 60,000 Chartered Accountants and more than 4.00 lacs students. Apart from his positions at ICAI, CA Nitesh Gupta was also nominated to the Zonal Advisory Board of LIC of India (North Central Zone) for the period 2018-2020 and was re nominated for the period 2020-22. He is also the Treasurer of the St. Peters Old Boys Association, which is a prestigious alumni association of a renowned school in Agra. He has qualified limited insolvency exam conducted by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and is a Resolution Professional. Currently, he is banking cell chairman of LAGHU UDYOGH BHARTI, Agra and is actively participating in day to day activities. He is a regular faculty member at various forums, including ICAI, ICSI, LIC of India, MSME Agra, etc. He has also been active in social activities, being part of a large number of social organizations and taking key initiatives for the cause of society.
